Last nite in kaoshiong and they brought us to a bridge to watch ppl board boats. As if we hv nthg better to do. It was friggin cold!
This statue is s'pose to be a fish changing into a dragon. Dont see any transformation tho.

Big temple opposite the spring pavillion. Dont know the name, cant read chinese!

Enter through the dragon's mouth and exit thru the tigers!! We didnt climb up the pagoda andi blame the tour guide who was rushing us. It's also called the spring pavillion if im not misaken.

Flowers in Fu lung sha temple ( not sure) but it's huge.
That's me with the giant buddha statue. Around the garden there are hundreds of human-sized buddha made of pvc i think. It's hollow and there a Do Not Touch Sign.
Lunch in Tainan. The foods were Deeelicious!
Motorcycles everywhere! Statistics from tour guide there's 88 motorcycles for every 100 persons.

Tried solero shot? This is higher.
The diving machine! It stopped there for 2 secs to let u 'admire' the view b4 going off!
Strawberries in, well a strawberry farm! Sweet and a lil sour. Still tastes good!

Sui loong pau in taiwan. My 1st was in HK and it was delicious. This was almost as good. Almost.

Night market in taiwan!! Look at the people!!! ONLY 1 friggin hour. Bought NOTHING!!! @#%%

A doorknocker in the chiang kai shek memorial. We spent an hour here.
Group picture! All 44 of em.

Me, my parents with their friends and their son han. Asshole's only 16!

National museum. Apparently b4 Mao zhi dong died or smth he whisked alot of historical items here from China. I wonder why. We ONLY spent an hour here.

Chiang kai shek memorial. Yes we went there at nite. Another hour here.

My mom in the Martyr's museum.
Martyr's memorial. Entrance to all of the....plats?

2 guards guarding the entrace to smth. Are not allowed to even step on the stairs! WTH's inside!!

At the gates of the Martyr's museum. My parents and I! =)
Taipei 101. Named thus for it has 101 floors.

Parents in a shopping complex next to 101. Much like KlCC but they have better foods in their food courts!!

"Oh the fish ball soup here is very nice. You all need to try it" says the tour guide. Conclusion: Nthg special just that it's bigger than average. This is in Jiufen.

4 diff types of Fu Yi. We take this with our porridge! Very nice bought a afew home.

My parents... Look at my dad! Always eating no wonder his tummy is growing bigger & bigger!

Smth's not right in this picture.

Scenery in Jiufen. The story goes that last time there was 9 families here and 10 on the other side of the mountain. So the supply porters just called the places jiufen ( supply for 9) and shifen (for 10) and the name has stuck til now.
We reached Taipei on the 22nd at 2200 hrs and went to hv a heavy supper. Reached the Imperial hotel as 2330. Wake up call was designated at 0630. On the 1st nite i was bored and ventured out alone at 0130. It was crazy as the girls were still shopping at that time and activities ceased just a lil. Got my hands on fried chicken liver, Pig skin and a green seaweed thingy called hai smth.
On our 1st day we went to Jiufen then we went to 101. Nthg spectacular. Our KLCC is much grandier! (nationalism.. LOL) After that we went to the Marty's museum b4 having lunch. Then we went to the National Museum and in the evening to the chiang kai sek memorial and to the night markets. Se men ting and the other 1 shih-li. Arrived back at the hotel at 2300 smth.
The next day (24th!) we head to taichung. Highlight of the day was the Jian-hu shan theme park which have one of the biggest ferris wheel i've seen. It takes roughly 'bout 45 mins to complete one full circle. We had a one of a kind xmas eve dinner. Open aired and all the food served was a lil cold! Was acting macho at that time and refused to bring down my pullover and boy did i suffered. Had beer and played about. Xmas spirit was about and everyone started singing carols. I just sat there and listened!! XD At about 2130 we went to Fong Chia night market. Bought nthg except for a stick of chinese sausage, rice in sausage shape and yam bubble tea (communication error).
25th was spent mostly on the bus where we departed from taichung to tainan where we had a special lunch ( pic above). Then we head to kaoshiung city whr we visited the spring & autumn pavillions and the dragon tiger pagoda. Beautiful! B4 that, we visited fo kuan shan, a huge temple. The tour guide wanted some comission and brought us to a pearl shop afterwards. There was a class whr we all attended listening to stuffs about pearls i think. Couldnt understand!!! At night, he brought us over to the Love river. It was so cold yet i could still see taiwanese girls with short skirts or short pants.
Woke up at 0430 to get dressed b4 heading down to the lobby to get our packed lunch! Consist of a hard boiled big, ham sandwich with the ham the size of credit card and a banana! Of all things, a banana! Left for the airport at 0530 arriving at 0600-0630. Checked in and boarded the plane at 0800. Goodbye taiwan and home to malaysia!!
Oh, pics are from the last day to the 1st!!
