Dresscode for Billboards and then what?

I recently read this on the news about another city following in the footsteps of another in implementing their advertisement ruling. It appears to be that too little fuss is given to it and too little attention spared in our busy lives. Link

The ruling by kelantan and the alor setar city council was that advertisements on billboards must display decently clad personnels and for a portrayal of a Muslim woman, she must be dress in a headscarf.

Say good bye to this

And more to
Because under the scarf is great hair that you cannot see.

It might just be me but I think these sex-ed up advertisements are one of the main causes for the increase in rape. It's not the decay of our social policies or morality. It's those damn bloody adverts!

I would suggest to the likes of Asatsu-DK and NagaDDB to just use men in their adverts. So much easier and it would do us much good to have women running around all hot and horned.

But yeah, I might be overreacting and then overcompensating for my over reaction. The truth is, I believe that we are on a spiral towards more conservatism if that's even a word. Okay, let me put it in a way that sounds better to me........ I believe that we are becoming more conservative instead of being more open and more accepting and that's a worry for me.

Billboards now, and in the future? On the roads, in the malls and everywhere else.
