Perth - 1st day

Ahhh, Perth.
Capital of the State of Western Australia.
Home to peace-loving people and city with the least amount of skyscrapers i've seen. Shops closes at 1700 hrs and it gets dark at around 1800 hrs. Once a week shops opens till 9(thurs), due to the occurence of late-night-shopping and pointed by sean(my cous) because thats normally the day they get paid. Perfect place for liks and joann. I can die there if i stay longer than a month.

Left for the airport at 2100 hrs on 25-05-09 a monday. 3 hours the flight is due since airasia;

yes people my parents are so cheap that they rather break their backs than sit comfortably. So if you think i'm cheap, we all know now where that gene came from!

The name's AirAsia X - X being xtra wide or smth.... bullsh!t

It was a 5 and a half hours uneventful flight since i was trying to sleep all the way.

ON THIS!! Do i look like a midget?

Note: try. The only thing that left an imprint was my dad refusing to eat when the food carriage passed at around 2 a.m. because........ Rm18 for nasi lemak. Refer to point in 1st para. Alas, since he's almost 7 motnhs pregnant and needs to feed for 2(it seems) he had to order a mee cup at 4 a.m. to appease it never-to-be-born baby within. Oh, it's RM 6. @#%^$^$&

My parents! Sedihnya....

Arrived at perth at around 0600 hours with the weather plotting to give me the flu of the swine(XD) and chilling my bones. This morning is especially nasty. Bro picked us up and we went over to his friend's place to await the check-in time which is at 1400 hrs.

Had my first authentic aussie breakfast. Somehow i managed to chug the whole plate myself.

The even call it Aussie Breakfast! A$ 14.

Got my first sight-seeing trip from the hostess(bro's friend) Jesse. She brough us to Kings park to take a morning stroll.

What tickled my light bulb was when she said people drive their car up here at night... to fuck. Yes, Perth-ians fuck in their cars at night in Kings park and they dont have to worry bout Ulama's knocking on their window.

The condominium behind costs A$ 12 000 000. Thats 12 million baby. It looks lavish as hell from the outside and it's big. Uninteresting. =\

Afterwhich we went to University of Western Australia where Jesse studied.

Suns in my eye! Sun's in my eye!!!!
As i walked, the 'Uni feel' was overwhelming. It makes you feel you're in a University and not in some backwater village.

Alas, i shan't compare. UWA has been established for 100 over years. USM i would say is like a teenage boy planting his seed to be sown later. There is much to learn and much progress to be made...

For some reason i like this much.

I couldnt stay long in UWA, the more time i spend there i more i feel i shouldnt be heading back to USM, the more i say to myself FUCK ME!

She brough us to the Town of Cottesloe facing the ocean and serves some good italian ice-cream.

Beach of Cottesloe.

At first i really think australians are a bit retarded for not scooping it into balls like how they do it here, but then i realised... they are actually giving us more value for money.

After indulging in the ice-cream we went to Harbour Town to do abit of shopping before we leave for Albany the next day.

400 miles south.

That would be the end of the 1st day. I've decided to break-up my post to a few short ones instead of pulling a long one. Will update every 2 days. Cheers
