Bukit Tabor

What can 4 testosterone-filled men do when they get together?

Loo, Danny, Liks and I

Find an outlet to release all those hormones that they've been saving up for years.

There were mountains to climb and valleys to trek. Heavy in foliage and bush, the trek was not meant to be easy.

15 mins in
But as men, with their natural instincts, we overcame every obstacle thrown against us.

30 mins in
We used our hands, our fingers to get a good grip. We even went down on our knees and sometimes on our ass. No slope was too steep, no valley to deep and no bush too thick!!

Jungle trek

We began our journey at around 0900 hours; it was s'posed to be according to Danny's friend, " a 2 hours in 2 hours out hike."

The dam

Since a girl can do it in 4 hrs, we men; We can do it in 3!! With time for a picnic at the top.

Been there, done that

It was really easy for the 1st hour, we got time to cam whore around and with danny's melodious voice, we broke into a song.

All smiles

It was either the EASY hike or danny's singing that taxed liks. He was pancit-ing every 10 mins and vomitted once. Yes liks, i'm stating this on purpose! =)

A dying liks

The day was perfect for a hike, bright but not sunny. A lil breeze now and then to cool us down and it wasn't too humid! We thought we could go on for forever...

Pit stop

The view wasnt too shabby either. There was the Klang Gates(a Dam) located on our right which we thought we could bathe in at the end, or rather i did.

Natural beauty

Where the trek ended, began our torture. It was real mountain climbing with only ropes and your strength to carry you. There were some 80 degrees slope which wasnt all that hard in the end. Tsk tsk, it just looks hard!

Pit stop 2

We conquered peak after peak with Danny the Macho in the lead pushing us to our limits just to catch up with his ass.

Danny's ass

The trail split into 2; one's the rope which is harder and the other a trail to trek. We took the path less travelled.

Wasnt long before we met our first rope where a girl lost her grip and fell to her death. Before reaching the rope, we met a girl which danny was trying to seduce with his yoga body. She was on her way back and was spotting a 'HUG ME' t-shirt.

I will not tell what happened next.

The first rope was a 50m descend. Since we scoutsie are used to climbing rope legless, it wasnt that hard for us.

1st rope outta 3

Had a race with danny up a rocky slope. Stupid fella took it down in 10. I reached in.... twe...twelve. It was... ugh.... windy and it was raining stones when i began climbing!!!

Continued our journey when we reached a cave like area. To show off their muscles and how big their balls is, loo and liks challenged each other to a climb to the top of a slope.

loo liks

Gahahahahaahha... ;)

The pictures ends here not because the trail of getting to tough or smth. Nope, sure wasnt! Had to keep it because... err.. ran outta battery!! Yea, and the same goes for my ipod. I.. errr, forgot to charge it.

Slopes were getting steeper and the climb trickier. 80 degrees slope were omnipresent. Every peak we thought is the end, another greets us right after.

Almost towards the end.

We reckon we went down another 2 ropes and were on the 2nd last peak where the trail ends and the rope snapped. Danny-the-macho-brainless insisted he saw ropes below and maintained the descend was possible. Since loo and i were behind, we asked liks to confirm that.

liks : Bullshit!

We spent about 20 mins arguing the course of action with us 3 on one side urging prudence and Danny-the-macho-brainless on the other side urging we descend. Danny started calling his friends and loo started calling his friend raymond or smth.

One told us to keep going, and the other thought we were lost. One said there was a smiley at the end, the end only has a sheer drop to greet us. The other kept asking if we had enough food, we werent planning for a huge picnic.

Finally one said that was a trail to an orchard, the other said it should be a durian orchard.

Then raymond told loo we weren't suppose to conquer every peak and that was that. We backtracked leaving Danny-the-macho-brainless sulking bout not conquering the last peak which is thus:

The inaccessible last peak

The trek down was way way way way easier. We thought we were trekking down templers park!

Had a 100m dash to the car with Danny-the-macho-brainless. What a loser he is.

A few things that did not happen:

1) We did not get lost
2) I wasnt made a slave-scout
3) We did not find a water source
4) We did not shout 'sofia's a bitch'
5) We did not kena pancing by paddle-pop

All in all, it was a bloody fun hike albeit tiring. Next target would be the trek up cameron highlands at the end of year. Now that would be some hike!

Spectacular.

Perth- 2nd day

Had a good night sleep since there wasnt anything to do but to sleep. I was all energetic for the 4 and half hours drive south to Albany. I made my intentions known to drive part way but...

Nope.

and they went on guessing what i did to the car on the eve of leaving for USM. and guess what? They even guessed correctly! But to save my skin i had to resort to the easiest getaway...

sleep.... most of the way to Albany,

only waking for breakfast,

Ham, cheese and egg sandwich... simple yet DELICIOUS!

from the mart at the petrol station which is very future tech.

Gull petrol station

now take a closer look at the pump.

Uh, year 2009? iszit?

You pay....at the counter INSIDE. I thought i was in the 70's man! DAMNNNNN.

Oh, and the fuel price fluctuates daily, dont be surprised if you see 126 here and a 119 just across the street.

First order of the day was a sight seeing trip to the wind farm.

Not-so-majestic Wind Farm

I have to admit when they say wind farm, i expected a bigger grander display of windmills, instead of a few here and there -_-.

Me and bro

BUT because Malaysians are eco-ignorant and we believe our petrol can sustain us forever, i dont recall ever seeing one back home. So i acted like how i should..... like a 'budak kampung'

Amboi.. besarnya!!!!

It was a short walk to the scenic locations from where we almost lost our breath on arrival. ;).

They are pretending to look good. Camwhores..

Family pic.

Dad reckon he lost some weight, i reckon by half a month, now it's 6 and half months. And the physiognomy... didnt change much.

Awwww.. my elderly.

Since wind farms are naturally by the beach, we got a glimpse of the ocean.

White mist.... so damn beautiful

This is just alrite, better ones later!

After taking in the wind farm, we headed back to Perth.

and on the way back, we saw kangaroos!!! i venture forth to take a shot at the venerable creature, whose meat they say as a replacement for beef. As it's been know to be quite a boxer, i lost my balls bout 50m from it and decided to take a shot at him then. I swear my parents weren't proud!

Hey, your balls jsut dropped off!!

If that really happened, my bro's corpses would've been devoured by that venerable creature, fed by me dad. We took an hour's drive to see 'The Gap' and 'The Bridge' which according to legend was beautifully sculptured by God's pussy.

Yeap, Mother Nature!

I had a sudden an awful feeling that there's a Malaysian in every single human being.

Wait for it...

Thank you come again.

The bridge is..... well a bridge

Tourist attraction 1

while the gap is a sheer sudden drop from the cliff...

Tourist attraction 2

Tourist in tourist attraction 2.

It was around 1600 hrs when we were done with looking at the effects of Her period and it'll take an hour to head to town so we had to leave.

Checked into All Seasons motel i think...

It's dark because...
and had to have our dinner In the hotel because...

Assort. seafood basket.
This Fish & chips shop is open for business for 3 hours daily only. AND it's take away only.. damn lan c to me honestly.

Fish & chips

It's as though they are doing it.... for the fun of it, not because they need the money!

But boy was it delicious. It beat manhattan fish market flat out. Flat... and i'm saying this even when the tartar sauce had to be bought separately. Flat!

At around 2200 hrs, we went out for a glass of wine and just chill. Very relaxing.

Went to bed at around 2330, boy was i leaving a healthy lifestyle.

We leave for a city called Denmark on the 3rd day. About 2 - 3 hrs drive west of Albany.

Perth - 1st day

Ahhh, Perth.
Capital of the State of Western Australia.
Home to peace-loving people and city with the least amount of skyscrapers i've seen. Shops closes at 1700 hrs and it gets dark at around 1800 hrs. Once a week shops opens till 9(thurs), due to the occurence of late-night-shopping and pointed by sean(my cous) because thats normally the day they get paid. Perfect place for liks and joann. I can die there if i stay longer than a month.

Left for the airport at 2100 hrs on 25-05-09 a monday. 3 hours the flight is due since airasia;

yes people my parents are so cheap that they rather break their backs than sit comfortably. So if you think i'm cheap, we all know now where that gene came from!

The name's AirAsia X - X being xtra wide or smth.... bullsh!t

It was a 5 and a half hours uneventful flight since i was trying to sleep all the way.

ON THIS!! Do i look like a midget?

Note: try. The only thing that left an imprint was my dad refusing to eat when the food carriage passed at around 2 a.m. because........ Rm18 for nasi lemak. Refer to point in 1st para. Alas, since he's almost 7 motnhs pregnant and needs to feed for 2(it seems) he had to order a mee cup at 4 a.m. to appease it never-to-be-born baby within. Oh, it's RM 6. @#%^$^$&

My parents! Sedihnya....

Arrived at perth at around 0600 hours with the weather plotting to give me the flu of the swine(XD) and chilling my bones. This morning is especially nasty. Bro picked us up and we went over to his friend's place to await the check-in time which is at 1400 hrs.

Had my first authentic aussie breakfast. Somehow i managed to chug the whole plate myself.

The even call it Aussie Breakfast! A$ 14.

Got my first sight-seeing trip from the hostess(bro's friend) Jesse. She brough us to Kings park to take a morning stroll.

What tickled my light bulb was when she said people drive their car up here at night... to fuck. Yes, Perth-ians fuck in their cars at night in Kings park and they dont have to worry bout Ulama's knocking on their window.

The condominium behind costs A$ 12 000 000. Thats 12 million baby. It looks lavish as hell from the outside and it's big. Uninteresting. =\

Afterwhich we went to University of Western Australia where Jesse studied.

Suns in my eye! Sun's in my eye!!!!
As i walked, the 'Uni feel' was overwhelming. It makes you feel you're in a University and not in some backwater village.

Alas, i shan't compare. UWA has been established for 100 over years. USM i would say is like a teenage boy planting his seed to be sown later. There is much to learn and much progress to be made...

For some reason i like this much.

I couldnt stay long in UWA, the more time i spend there i more i feel i shouldnt be heading back to USM, the more i say to myself FUCK ME!

She brough us to the Town of Cottesloe facing the ocean and serves some good italian ice-cream.

Beach of Cottesloe.

At first i really think australians are a bit retarded for not scooping it into balls like how they do it here, but then i realised... they are actually giving us more value for money.

After indulging in the ice-cream we went to Harbour Town to do abit of shopping before we leave for Albany the next day.

400 miles south.

That would be the end of the 1st day. I've decided to break-up my post to a few short ones instead of pulling a long one. Will update every 2 days. Cheers

Patek philippe's phrase ROCKS:

You never really owned a Patek philippe, you merely looked after it for the next generation.

Beat that rolex.
