Actually, they're sort of right. If you have only 4 teams without a group, then it's a round-robin format with the winner winning it since there is only 4 teams.
What's the point of having the semifinals? If I'm one of the 4 teams, I might as well throw all the preliminary matches since I'll get a shot at the title anyway. Lose all matches, win the semis and final and I'll be champion. Not very fair no? And kind of stupid.

No, there were 6 teams And at the start of it all they already stated there will be 4 teams who enter semis.
