All in all it was a good meeting. It was signed, sealed and confirmed that I'm in a shit hole and it's a rather deep one. The only way to get out is to climb as hard as possible and as fast as possible.

With a deadline of less than one month from now, I think I have to really step up to another gear. Or else it's designing houses for sparrow. FML

Next Semester

I've been thinking recently, i wonder what should i take next semester. Should take English speaking or should i enhance my proficiency in the other languages?

I've almost forgotten my German and it's such a shame. German was so interesting and fun to learn. It might be due to meine lehrerin being such a sehr gut Frau. I think it might be because it isn't too difficult to grasp and understand.

Unlike French, Il est facile pas et tres difficile. Envidenment im having a hard time remembering words and learning new ones. Blardy french is very similar to English and some words are even spelt the same but gives a whole different meaning. Peut-etre the English copied the french. Nevertheless, french is still kinda sexy for me and lvl 300 looks rather tempting.

I am able to write a little but still unable to speak as fluent as i like. Maybe taking the next level will enable me to fake a parisian-born-chinese speech. Il y a tres bon pour montrer.

Will be back to the place where i belong in 2 weeks and 2 days.

The Racist That You Are

                I’ve never participated in a student election before hence I was like a frog under a coconut shell when I was exposed to the reality and cruelty of one today. It’s not that I didn’t have a chance but rather I wasn’t really interested in politics. Nevertheless I think if I did run for something I’ll probably get one in a million votes, from my mom from way back in kl.

                The way I see it, there was stereotype evident in every sector of the assembly, with the Chinese one side and the Malays in the other. We keep trying to persuade ourselves that we are united and above the race issue. We are not. It’s not that we were born racists it’s just that sometimes we get afraid and that sometimes we are hard pressed against the wall.

                The man with a plan and the correct choice of words wins. That’s politics. Let’s face it, people of the masses wouldn’t know if you are capable or not from the look of your face but If you can persuade them that you are, then you’ve got them hooked. The person able to speak the best with a mastery of language wins. I probably should then I speak 5 damn languages. VOTE FOR ME BITCHES!

                People pretending to be your friends will be your friends until the last minute. I don’t much fancy this racial bias but I can’t say so for the rest of them. I mean to support someone just because they have the same colour whilst rejecting another who might be more capable is just lost in me. But what do I know rite? It’s just politics.

                You might say, oh this is just a student election it doesn’t matter. But most of our current leaders graduated from some university somewhere, doesn’t it make u wonder that things might have manifested from something that doesn’t matter?

                Looking at Egypt and the present situation in the Mid east you cant help but wonder when can we as a proud multi racial country break the mould and truly vote for a capable person and not just to protect something or ourselves. Sorry ISA I aint inciting anything please don’t catch me.

                Coming back to the assembly, what I saw was awfully sad for our country. The racial divide begins from the speaker’s stand with the Chinese on one side and the Malays the other. The Indians, I love your curry but you’re the minority of the minority in this campus. Don’t hate me, you know that is true.

                Kudos to our Civil School. Where every other school has a no contention seat, we gave the people a choice. There were 2 candidates, both being fine speakers and having a great plan of their own. It would be rather tight if I were to make a choice but I would in the end choose the person that I trust most that I believe to have caliber and not because he share my skin or my eyes. Us Chinese, we are born to be branded as small eyes so live with it.

Red Undies For Luck

I guess we Civil-ians are as entangled as ever. When the luck runs out from one of us, it runs out from all of us. 22 January 2011 was when the house cards falls down with a huge boom.

It started off perfectly. Everyone was merry and everyone was smiling and laughing. The atmosphere was so feel good you could just breathe the feel good feeling.

We left our cars at Cititel, some of us went to MOIS, some of us went to FAME. We were just searching for some innocent fun. At about 0230, it started crumbling.

A club got raided and some friends were caught in the fray, somehow they looked like criminals. Talk about face problem. -______________-.

Some, didnt bring their identification card. Please people, if you're not an illegal immigrant, bring that damned blue card with you when you're out. It doesn't weigh 5 grams!

A total of 3 cars from our side got broken into. 2 remained lostless but one was unfortunate. It was truly unfortunate and there's no way to explain it but to say it's a case of bad luck.

Apparently old cars are easy to break into, just slide a long ruler or stick into the spaces between the locks and it comes free. Damn, that's some shit seeing how we parked in the hotel and it's supposed to be safe. Or i thought it was.

The news came all out once, we found out the camera was missing and a few minutes later, the news of friends being raided arrived.

I think we all need some 'ong' to make ourselves luckier. I suggest wearing red undies once a week.

On an average day, my download speed in usm is about oh, 280 kb/s only. It's kinda slow but what the heck rite, i can wait 10 mins for my episode to finish downloading.

Badminton is his passion, a little tooo much

This is my friend, he was supposed to play badminton for this hostel this weekend but he ended up in the hospital instead. He was actually dancing on the court when he tripped over his own leg.

Pity... guess he wont be playing after all. His ligament was pulled.

I  am reluctant to show you his current picture.

We waited in the blardy hospital for an hour before he was finally checked upon by a male nurse. I'm pretty sure he wasnt even a doctor.  We were then sent on our away 30 mins later after he underwent some quick physio and an injection.

On reaching campus, his eyes started to swell and his speech different from normal. We sent him up to his room still but waited for awhile more. His eyes was getting worse and his throat was getting numb making it hard for him to speak or swallow his own saliva.

His eyes were so red and swollen that you cant even see his eyes!! and his throat! I couldnt even hear what he trying to say. Nahh, exaggerated a little. It was swollen but you could still see the eyeballs. A little anyway. His speech was coherent enough to ask me to call see yan to do his lab report. XD What a nerd!

We then sent him back to the hospital where he was admitted without wait. That's good, for once. Stupid inefficient hospital. He then had to wait another hour before we were notified that he had to'masuk wad' and was told to wait to registed him.

We waited for another 20-30 mins whence we became restless and pissy. We were smelly and dirty after playing volleyball and hadnt had much good food to eat. Teikz then talk to a nurse who said friends cant register for him. Stupid inefficient hospital!!!!!

We finally left the hospital at 12.

Probably going through once more will suffice. That once more is dreadful. But i expect that 15% to be mine. In full.

English + French = Frenlis

When i saw none of those who took French level 1 with me sign up for level 2 i can only guess that they've suffered a similar fate. Or maybe even worse.

If no one scored an A for french am i happier? Am i a sadist for feeling happy that they sucked just as bad as me ?

I don't even know why i signed up for French level 2. I think i'm stupid.



On another note. LSP 404 is a complete waste of my time. Well first class was, i would need to see if i learnt anything from the remaining classes. Today was about MEETING.

How to hold a meeting and what to do when organizing a meeting. One critical point which the Mister -can't call him doctor i think- overlooked or missed out or neglected to mention is that the most important thing about holding meeting is the coherence of your speech and the ability to deliver your message precisely and effectively. _|_ take this.

Secondly, my prerequisite for an English teacher to be qualified to teach me is that he/she must speak fluently. If my pronounciation is better than you, should i give you extra classes for an A? My pronounciation isn't flawless and i need constant improvement. Heck, im almost always corrected when i'm with Aaron, Chris and Richard. How the heck can i improve when.. NVM.

From the few minutes when i'm awake, i saw "How to hold Affective meetings." I might be wrong but is emotional meetings good for the company? Wouldn't EFFECTIVE be more appropriate?

The Rice

It was all unnecessary. Which was why i thought it was necessary to do the unnecessary. The girls were talking about it for the whole semester. No1 thought they will ever do it.

And they wouldn't. They were up for it but on eve they lost steam and was all set to give up. But that couldn't happen. I figured it'll be too fun to watch to give this chance up. EXECUTE WE MUST!!!! Sry bro, if you wanna whack me, i'll run.

Execute we did, with perfection. Way too damn perfect that we overdid it.


Target was pre-determined to reach the cafe at 1830 hours. Alas, he was 10 minutes late!

It was all done in a hurry i had to admit. We had all the materials ready but we were lacking a plan. A plan to make the box that would contain his present. I would type beloved present but i would not live to sit for EAG245.

We then just started tearing boxes like dogs gone mad and combining them together to with tape and saliva. It was all going very well when suddenly we realized we need to make the base or else the rice-powered target might just lift the whole box up.

Hence we made the base and thought our job was done.

IT was not. The box was big enough, but it was not tall enough. The present isnt very tall but still, we only had small boxes. The females used their menacing claws and jaws to tear the remaning boxes and we proceed to build our majestic container.

The present then climbed ontop a chair before jumping into the box. The present was persuaded to wear skirt to pretend to be man.. i mean womanly. I dont think it worked.

With the present in, we proceeded to seal the top. WE had to, the present must be perfect!

IT wasnt hard, i think the present was a bit square at the top hence acted as a wonderful table. Sealing the top was easy. We just taped like crazy. I mean, not like anything alive is inside rite?

But to maintain freshness - pun intended-, we figured we're better off making some air holes to allow circulation. One at the side, and another at the ass. *Shrugs* Just in case?

at 1835, our present was ready!

Which means at 1835, the present was already in the box for 5 minutes. We were anxious, we were very anxious. BUT, the 2 air holes are definitely doing their job!!!

1840 came and the target arrived in fashion. With 2 bodyguards side by side protecting him from any unneeded distraction or harm.

TOT 09/10

It took me 2 years to realize that i might have chosen the right uni. Missing out on the chance to participate on the 1st year was regrettable. It didn't give me something to look forward to.

Partaking in TOT or annual athletics meet in main campus this year was very exhilarating indeed. I never knew it was so competitive. It was an atmosphere that i was looking for, that i needed here in USM.

I earned zero medals this year after running in a 4x100m relay and taking my pet event long jump albeit with some mishaps. After a stupendously slow run in semi-finals, we were surprised we go into finals that afternoon.

After a change of runners, we got ready for the finals. We came in 4th! A slip on the 2nd runner was all that was needed to destroy our hopes of even getting a medal.

Long jump was an even bigger disappointment. They didn't even register me for it but at 7.30 this morning, they called me to get my ass down there for it. I knew i was in deep shit after qualifying for finals. They were good. They were very good.

Came in 4th again!! The farthest jump was 5.9m while i recorded 5.4m which was even lesser than the ones i made in sec. school.

Didnt run in 4x400m because some guy wanted to participate. Sad to say, the team was let down by him when they came in 5th in their semis hence didnt qualify.

Although I couldnt get any medals this year but i have regain the competitive spirit that was lost after form 6. My naivety that being one the best in VI, i could at least achieve smth in uni. How foolish.

Nevertheless, with a little bit of training i'm sure next year's results will be better. I have found people who can run as fast or even faster, people who also has that desire to win. Next year's TOT is what i'm looking towards to.
