Itchy ass? Prolly Balls!

Hitherto I have not felt sick after a 400m sprint before. That is up till now. It was 2.30 and we were having burgers and soft drinks b4 house training was to commence. Chai had daging special plus another hot dog while theen chuan had ayam special plus another roti bakar. I sticked to daging special tambah bawang goreng with extra pepper. I just felt like daging-ing at that moment.

Chai suddenly had an urge to shit while me and theen chuan went to play carom. It’s a board game where u use a striker to hit other round shaped seeds into a hole at the 4 corners which I end up losing by 3 seeds. The oor si fella came and joined us with a pungent smell…….of fag. Yeap picture a guy squatting down with shit slowly coming out from his bottom end with a cigarette in btw his fingers. Picture perfect! We played another round of carom which I was leading handsomely. Had to be greedy and in went the strike into the hole thus forfeiting all my points. Good fucking game!

Mr thum was there and I had to show to him that I was present. He made us do long jump just to satisfy his pessimism that we couldn’t do long jump. Dude, lookey here a former gold medalist and u want him to show u if he can QUALIFY? Should that even cross ur mind? Jumped anyway. =S But was he even looking when chai and I did our jumps? NO! apparently asking us to jump was the end of it and he began talking to some kids asking them what they can contribute to the house. Seriously….. NOT BAD !!! Anyway I had wanted to train my jumps. I think im doing about 5.6m’s? I need a 6m jump to confirm my gold medal.

It was about 4 I think maybe earlier and Pn. Norhayati (dedicated –very- teacher) was talking to some boys who refused to run because of some lame ass shit excuse like “aku ada training” It’s only one stupid round around the field and he’s complaining that we wants to train. He needs a stick up his ass! I think chai’s ass was getting itchy or maybe his balls were I don’t know but he wanted to run and he called me along. I wasn’t planning to and refused but he pancing kao. I was obstinate since if I lose to them it’ll be a major loss of face and was about to be the time keeper but he was gonna run with those lame ass kids by himself. So I got pancing-ed.

Off we went after ‘MULA’ and those pesky kids were not bad. They started off quick while chai and i just relaxed keeping apace. 150m in and I was getting impatient. I started sprinting a lil just get them behind my back. I know chai was gonna follow me and soon we were 1st and 2nd. For all their cockstories I thought those kids would be a lil better! Tsk tsk. Anyway, 100m left and the gap was kind of big btw me chai and them. I had no idea why but that brain of mind commanded; “Sprint to the finish” It wasn’t even a competition or time trial. Heck, they weren’t even taking my time.

Hitherto I had nvr vomited or even felt sick after a 400m sprint. Hitherto! The world seemed to spin albeit just a lil and the side of my head was pumping some shit into my brain. It hurt and it hurt bad. Surprisingly chai suffered from the same symptoms. We lied on the grass then went up to the pavilion. The headache and pumping wont go away. It was good after awhile but only if I just lay there. When I sat upright, it would return. Was already feeling nauseous when theen chuan said that sitting upright is better and that to vomit is a good thing which will clear the mind. Bullshit! Puked half a minute after and it did clear up my mind. Water, loads of it with tiny chunks of red shit and onions came spewing out from my mouth with an occasional piece of cabbage tagging along. My burger daging special! BAGUS!!!

That’s about it. I want my burger daging special although maybe I’ll go for the chicken instead this time tambah bawang goreng dan lada lebih!! Oh, oh…..

Teacher wants me to take triple jump but I have not tried it b4 nor do I even know the correct way to do the triple jump. I am taking high and long jump tho. And apparently also 4X100m and 4X400m which she selamba damn confident go put my name. I don’t mind actually! XD. Im still deciding between triple jump or 200m sprint. As of rite now im confirmed of 2 medals and with the relays maybe 2 more so I need 1 more to complete the maximum of 5 medals. I need to check out the competition. Maybe I can become the sportsman of the year on my last sports day. I hope I can! Cheers!

Second To None

Second To None
Standing proud we live as one,
Against the odds we conquer,
Sharing in this legacy,
This brotherhood of unity,
We never fail, upholding the laws
And our traditions,
We’ll take test, together we’ll rise above the rest
We will strive and nvr cease,
To look forward and believe,

WE rise above,
And sail beyond,
Tomorrow and a day,
The spirits in our hearts will never die…
Through that troubled winds that blow
In everything we do,
We’ll remain forever,
Second to None.

Holding to the promise that,
We’ll nvr walk alone,
We join in laughter,
Share in the tears,
We face it all as brothers,
In our hearts,
The flame will not fade into the darkness,
As it burns, we’ll carve our names
In the sands of time,
We will strive and never cease,
To look forward and believe

WE rise above and sail beyond,
Tmrw and a day,
The spirits in our hearts will nvr die,
Throught that troubled winds that blow
In everything we do,
We’ll remain forever Second to None,
WE’ll remain forever Second To None.

Well this this a song that all we 2nd kl's love, like and know with our hearts. Since it's so meaningful to us, what the heck i might as well share with all of u.
This song was written by 2 of our very own ex'es and it manages capture what it means to be...us.

House Training

House practice used to be fun with so many friends around to talk cock while training. This yr’s different where so many of us left leaving behind just a handful. There was only 3 ytd me included. The other 2 were chai and jiunk. To my surprise, 2 new guys were also present albeit w/o proper attire. They stayed for quite awhile b4 retreating back to their homes.

Long jump was crazy with the passing mark so f*cking far from the white line. We weren’t convinced that we could pass that. It was actually the same distance as in form 5 but it just seemed a lil bit further to us this time. It may be due to the months of inactivity but still, how can the mark be so far? Can anyone even pass it? Chai and I did, Jiunk was just a lil bit sampah! XD

Since there was only 3 stopwatches, 100m was conducted in groups of 3. Since there’s only 3 form 6’s, that wasn’t a problem. So I took lane 3, Chai on lane 4 and jiunk on lane 5. Gegarisan, sedia mula bla bla and we’re off. Chai seems to be a lil faster in the start but I caught up and overtook him finally. My time was 10.84. Good I guess im gonna represent Malaysia in the Olympics. Stupid timekeeper can even start the stopwatch on time! Bet he was staring at some random girl. Oops I forgot, the girls are so princess-like that they feel uncomfortable with so many ppl looking at them run that they pleaded to have a special training day just for emselves. Tsk tsk, I know u girls are shy and embarrassed that u’ve no assets to show but plz, the only reason why we’re even bothered about u is becoz u might be able to get a medal for our sports house. Don’t think too highly of urselves! Lol… funny ppl!

Oh, throughout the whole training, I felt that ppl were staring at me… notably my buttocks. It hinders the movement of the legs and feels uncomfortable with so many eyes piercing thru the clothing. Yeap, pierced rite thru to my undies. There was quite a hole on my pants which I didn’t notice when I took it out from the closet. Thankfully I was wearing black renoma which was roughly the same black as my pants so I think that shielded some. And…… I only found this out after I arrived at home when I walked past my sis which laughed at me for wearing buttocks exposing clothing. Good! Just Great!

Disdainful

I’ve been planning or at least had some thought about writing this post for a day now. However, every time I completed the 1st sentence, I find myself standing infront of a brick wall. Nevertheless, I am obstinate about writing bout this which drove me go over, below or strafe by that wall. I’m questioning my motives as im typing this down and I am uncertain of the reason why.

I’ve seen ppl acting in ways that I do not approve of. But then again who’s asking for my approval? Nevertheless, when I witness smth that is to my distaste, I will either confront that person or when I don’t feel like doing that, i’ll hv to rant it out here. Like a coward! LOL, some1’s talking bout me rite this moment for im sneezing like mad.

When some1 is given a responsibility, it is expected of him to be diligent and to get his job done. And when he promised to be thus so b4 taking up the post, these expectations are amplified even more so. Thus, when the job’s not done or when he chooses not to, it is not only self-defeating but is also undermining the effort of the team. These are acts of a hypocritical bastard and I do not like hypocrites.

Wong mew choo has created history by being the 1st Malaysian woman to enter the finals of the Malaysian Open. She managed to grab a silver, losing to zhu lin of china who seems to be half-a-class above our girl. Nevertheless she went down fighting and it was a well-earned medal. Congratz!

Right now, our men’s doubles of Koo kien kiat and Tan boon heong are playing against the Indonesians, Tony gunawan and Chandra wijaya in the finals. We have already secured the 1st set(21-15) and with the score 20-18 in the 2nd in our favour. I expect them to secure victory for us. Ahhh, just as I finished typing this, they have already claimed victory. Double joy for us Malaysians!! Cheers!!

ZzZzzz, our shuttlers can speak for nuts! They can play but they blardy hell can handle an interview. Maybe our MBA should consider giving them English lessons! XD XD!!

Merely...... only an actor!

It appears that im no longer allowed to bring my sling bag to school. Somehow living in a democratic country with the said rights of freedom of choice didn’t really turn out to be so. But then again, im still a student in an institution which hv it’s own set of rules or rather it’s disciplinarians who hv so much free time that they sat together to make up new rules. Seriously, it’s okay if it’s at least logical!

So since the ‘rule’ is a dumb one, I aint gonna follow it. Heck, I don’t think any one will. Besides, like what chris offered, those smart alec disciplinarians only told the form 5’s and im a form 6 so im not included. Then there was the no walking thru the quadrangle in fears of getting knocked by a car. Really, I know a student died while crossing the road UNDER a bridge but cars within school compound cant go above 35 so if they do get knocked, they’re just gonna get a bruise. Besides, they hv insurance! This was an old rule which regrettably was no enforced thus not followed so why re-implement it? In an effort to make the students more discipline, they hv also decided to require the boys to put away their utensils after break. This rule is okay and it should be enforced! Oh well, I guess those canteen fellas who so many were hired are just there to sit and serve bad food.

Nevertheless, I’ve witnessed a leader who failed his duty to lead and serve his subordinates. He failed terribly as a leader and I seriously doubt his abilities. With his performance as such, he does not deserve to be what he is. He did not fight for his men nor did he try to. He can just shrug it off as if it’s so trivial.

Furthermore, when a teacher(s) chided that lower forms can be prefects he could only stare at the floor and listen like a kid that just got caught flying. WTF! Being a head boy means u’re given the responsibility and power to act as u seem fit to bring up or at least maintain the school’s status. So, when those assholes suggests crappy ideas, blow ur tip off and bang the shit outta them. Why are u afraid to even voice ur discontent?

Alas, he is one that cannot be replaced for if it could be done, it would’ve been done! Dissent has already risen among the ranks and he would do good to change. And change he must! Unfortunately, what can the crowd expect from a mere coward? It is expected of him to cover in the shadows and pretend, pretend that all is well and hope he will last his term. God Bless!

Just one of those days

It was again one of those days where I would like to waste hours engaging in empty conversations. However, there was no1 suitable enough to talk to. So I went to take a ‘nap’ which lasted about 3 and ½ hours.

I have no idea why but I woke up feeling emo for a lil bit. And since I was in the mood my mind was racing thru all the things that went wrong. Matters regarding my studies, sr’s and rovers cloud my thoughts the most. I had no idea why but for that one minute these problems seems paramount to others and in need of attention and to be solved as quickly as possible.

I took a long hot shower to help clear my mind off those thoughts. It always works and I was feeling much relieved after. I guess after all, it’s only just one of those days.

Oh, and let me apologize for not updating my blog much sooner. I had so many things i wanted to blog about but i got lazy and ended up posting nthg.

Already 19! Old Hag!!

XD...XD

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AARON!!

Worth It?

The coughing has been getting worse and worse. There are times now when I feel like vomiting after each cough and my throat’s burning up. I guess recovery’s gonna be delayed by 2 to 3 days.

I’ve decided to pull out of the basketball team with a heavy heart. There are 8 of us but the current team can only fit 6 more. We do not know who to jack nor how to break it to them. Actually the problem lies on only 1 guy for if we jack him for the new guy, he will period. Mostly with me and I don’t like getting spewed in blood. Now every1’s making problems by saying out of the blue that they don’t wanna play also. What the heck man? They were so enthusiastic bout it when we got to know that we can play yet now they say don’t really wanna play after all? I don’t think im the cause of this domino effect. Damn rite I hope im not!

However, I am gonna start working the treadmill maybe twice or 3 times a week. I’ve gotta train for sports day. Im not sure if there’s space for me for some of the running events as form 5 and 6 are in one category. However I hv no doubt bout medals for long jump and high jump if I just performed like how I did in form 5. Oh well, time will tell and house meeting’s this Friday.

Right now, there’s a more important matter that require more attention than we are giving right now. I’ve asked so many times b4 if we still want to hv the rovers or not but the question seems to get lost in the air everytime. If we want to keep em, we should talk to mr leong no matter how disastrous it might be or go to bp house to get the letter and shit. And if we do not want em, we should blardy hell at least notify them that rovers is no more and they don’t hv to come or hope for meeting. Nevertheless, how many of the 12 girls who were in are still enthusiastic bout it? They’ll prolly come up with lame excuses like tuition, tired, lazy or the blur “ HAR, Still got scouts…MEH?” So I do not yet know if they’re a bunch worth fighting (over?) for.

Half a cup as good as...

It was another funny episode of sch today. Jokes cracked spontaneously for almost All of the time and insults shot at with no mercy to the target. I was still sick with my cough getting worse instead of better even though with the help of Breacol. I think I need ‘chin pui pei par kou’ or smth. The phlegm that suddenly decided to appear was not a pleasant couple that up with the flu and the mucus. I had to sneeze most of the time but I just kept it in. The toilet’s far away and sneezing on a tissue paper with the risk of it tearin and spewing out my mucus is not a very pleasant sight.

Anyway, halfway thru sch, I came up with a hypothesis that if I just continue talking…cock, I wouldn’t cough as much. I was right, up to a point. The second I stopped to get a breather, my cough would return with amplified severity. It’s bad interruption for the class to listen halfway thru a lecture to hear some1 coughing his lungs out. Hey, it’s either that or loud boisterous laughter from the back.

The new FC shirt that was ‘compulsory’ for every1 to buy was better than our yr’s design but still crappy. Ordered one anyway. I like wasting my parents money.

I would also like to notify ppl close to me of a red alert. Or rather, period alert? Apparently some1 gave smth to some1 but didn’t bothered to give somebody else smth. I hope I don’t get caught in the crossfire!!

Im feeling a lil better but I think I still need another day’s rest to completely recover from this. Maybe I’ll come back with renewed zeal for my studies. And oh, there’s a chance that I’ll be representing school for bball. It’s not confirmed yet tho, ms said he’ll tell me later. I think I should start training, if not for bball then at least for sports day WHICH my teacher told me to NOT go low profile and run for the house. Sry, terpaksa bangga!!!! Cheers!!

Falling ill.... hope not!

Friday’s the best day of the week. Not only do I only hv 2 subjects –chem and pa- sch ends at 1210. Furthermore, after sch, a bunch of us would stay back for bball which is my badly needed weekly exercise.

Chem was fun/crappy. I cant differentiate. Apparently my mouth moved too much and the things I do are for fun which prompted the teacher to order me to redo my work….for fun. She also said I’ll suffer because of that for the rest of the year. I Am So Deeply petrified!! Seriously, my legs are shaking. I think I’ll have a fun yr with her and also a tough one.

My scouts group did fairly well during this yr’s recruitment drive. Recruitment drive is where the all the clubs and uniform groups set up booths in the hall enticing and recruiting the new form 1’s as members. We managed to get 70 names on our list albeit im sure there are fakes, just how many I don’t know. Hopefully we’ll get about 40 legit members.

I am yet to know my PA teacher, Pn Ari or Arienne. She didn’t appear today instead gave us a handout for homework. Boring! Just as it was reaching 1200, I noticed my specs were missing. I began a frantic search for it. Somehow I had an inkling that danny took it but he denied it forthwith. Then finally he took it out but will only return it if I say goodbye to ruth( a rather big girl next door in fm). I went. I think I gotta just break it to her that no matter what she heard, it’s all false and I don’t like her. I think that will stop all those rubbish talk from the likes of aaron, chris and danny. Tsk tsk!

Basketball was…. tiring. I was already gasping for air during the 1st 15 mins where we played 2on2 with me and Arthur against mun sou and chris(noob). We won, 7-6, with Arthur doing almost everything! =). We then challenged the form 4/5 who were having their ‘training’. They were reluctant at 1st but after some time they agreed to a 30 points, 5 on 5 game. Bring it on! We thrashed em 30-17. Somehow, I found stamina to run a lot during the match. Heck, I wont deny it, I enjoy running with the ball going pass all those defenders although I sometimes get checked by em. We stopped at around 2.30.

The drive back home was torturing. My legs were on the brink of being cramp and the road was friggin congested. The air cond is always crappy during the afternoon. Somehow when the weather is hot, it will follow suit but during the nite, the air cond works like how it’s s’pose to.

I slept thru the rest of the day. I was worn out and was feeling kinda sick. I think I had a minor fever in which I quickly gulp down lots & lots of water. I still feel like shit right this moment. I just hope I’ll be feeling better tmrw. Oh wells, have a nice weekend!

Bleak....

There is often much hype and anticipation during the 1st day of schools. For the std one kids it’s like living thru hell in an environment that is so different and unknown with so many other aliens around. But after schooling for so many yrs and passing thru numerous 1st days, today will be no different than the last.

To put it simply, I wasn’t rdy for school. I couldn’t find my tie & name tag. My bag’s chucked somewhr underneath the staircase and my uniform is from the previous year. After getting used to waking u at 12 in the noon, I’ll now have to start accustoming myself to waking up 6 hrs b4 that. So at 0630 today, my maid woke me up. I hadn’t gotten much sleep as I was tossing and turning and waking up in the mid of the nite. I brushed my teeth, showered and gel-ed my hair. At 0700, I left my house for school.

Just as I turned a corner heading for a petrol station, *bumps* I crashed into a car. He both parked our cars and came down to examine the dmg. There was nthg wrong with my car and to what I saw, his back was fine too. So I said, “hey, no dmg rite? Everything ok? Okay! Bye!” Just as I was turning my back, he called me back to look at the mid-section. Damn rite, there was a dent! Okay, so we started arguing with him accusing that I didn’t stop and me defending saying I did and I also put on my signal light! It went on for a few minutes then came an old man out of nowhere who also said I didn’t stop. WTF, his problem? Then the guy took down my car’s no. plate and since I didn’t wanna lose out, I also took down his. He then asked to go to the police but I refused since there’s no P sticker on my car so I phoned my mom and asked her to come settle this mess.

Since i was so damn friggin near to my house, mom was here in no time and after speaking to the guy for a while, my mom offered to fix his car for him and that he should let me go to sch 1st then tha he should also send his sons to sch. My mom then gave him here mobile no. and that he should call her after he has sent them to sch.

So I went to sch feeling like shit. I told all my friends bout it proclaiming what a bad start it is to the new eff-ing year! Class teacher’s jayaselvi who ordered us to clean the class where I ended up cleaning bird shit infested fluorescent lights! It wasn’t pretty. The new chem. Teacher, maheran was pretty strict. I think very much like Loo! But she’s friendly, I think. Then we started playing the games o’brey taught us –the bang-bang, who died? What time and BLACK magic!!- with our classmates. It was hilarious looking at them.

After brief- or should I say very brief- scout meeting, the guys and I went for lunch together with jovi at san peng. There we cont the games this time the victim was liks. He couldn’t figured it out no matter how hard he tried. After lunch, I sent chris down to uda ocean, I noticed that there was some weird noises coming out from the engine or steering and the steering wheel had some unexplained vibration to it. I called dad to tell him that I’ll be sending the car to Un teoh – mechanic- to check on the problem and he replied saying that I should send the car to him b4 the car breaks down. I thought I just said I would?

Apparently I needed to change the power steering fluid. When he poured in the new oil, it just dripped right down. So the hose was broken. NO, it wasn’t my fault! Even Un. Teoh said so. He also said I have to change the power steering fluid filter and the tank itself. Okay, total cost, RM 500. Dad told me to walk back to the office.

I can say that I had a great start to the new sch term. In a perverse way that is. To run salt to the wound, there’s a high chance that I wont be driving to sch. There’s currently 3 cars at home and now since sis started working, she’s got priority over me. Guess i'll just hv to get used to taking lrt again. And oh, the cost of fixing the dent on the guy's car was RM 400 thus spurring my dad to exercise an allowance cut! Great, just eff-ing Great!!!

A new kind of new yr's eve...

New years are always ushered in in grandeur. With crowds marauding about and feeling of joy in the air, everyone’s happy and enjoying the moment. With fireworks blasting away in the distant air and songs playing in the background, needless to say getting sprayed at with foam strings, it’s a moment of celebration!!

I’ve opted instead to usher in the new yr in a different but no less spectacular way. We gathered together a group of friends, headed to a quite remote area and BARBEQUED!! We started planning about it at 1830 and were done at 2000 on the 31st of Dec. It was gonna be held at jay’s grandparent’s place and aaron will me picking up William and I’ll pick up benny and wt. Ampang fellas will be following jay.

It was already 2200 and we still have no chicken! We began a frantic search for supermarkets but were turned away at attempt. We then decided to try our luck at tesco and jolly good, it’s opened till 11. We bought 20 pieces of chicken, sausages, balls and drinks! 8 guys, went marketing for supplies at 10 in the nite to hold a bbq which was only planned 2 hours ago. Fantastic!

Liks was JM-ing when I phoned him to drag him along. Apparently he wanted to celebrate with those ‘aunties’ from the dinner! We went to pick him up anyway. By the time we reach jay’s grandparent’s house, it was already 2345! By the time we finished setting up the table and arranging the stuff, it was almost midnite! So we just stood up and looked at our watches at when the hand stuck 12, we all screamed, clapped and shouted. Greeting and wishing each other happy new yr. Oh, just 50 metres away from us were a group of ppl who came from nowhere to the middle of the field holding beer cans and shouting away as well.

After that burst of activity, we began setting up the fire….. with only 1 piece of fire starter. It took us longer than usual and the pit was ready only at 0115. We were all starving and rushed to bbq our stuffs. I don’t know why but I like cooking chicken and was turning and applying honey + margarine to the chicken. Benny brought half a bottle of Absolut and we drank while bbq-ing.

When we were done eating, it was already 0300. We then played Seven where the loser has to drink a shot of vodka. It was blardy hilarious and enjoyable. There was still a bit of vodka left so I poured it into 9 cups for a toast! “Cheers……. Yuuuummmm Siiiingg!!!” Lol…a mixture of English modernity and Chinese orthodoxy. Throughout the whole nite, benny and kevin were snapping away photos. And at the end, we cam-whored by setting the timer for 5 shots and took group photos. With every flash came diff poses and diff smiles.

We cleaned up, threw the garbage and went home. I sent liks and wt back while aaron offered to help me send benny home since he was using that way to send William home. The ampangs fellas (Kyle, Kevin and jay) settled themselves. =) But I couldn’t go home just yet, wai kit called me and said they we waiting for me at GasOnline, pandan indah. My phone was dead and used liks’s phone to call charles and ask for direction. He told me to go over 2 over heads, kept left turn right….left..right…..straight and smth smth.

I got lost! And they had to come pick me up. Actually the way to the place was quite easy. I just got mixed up. And also because he gave me the wrong friggin direction!! We had beer and more beer. Half way thru, wk told us that his gf just broke off with him. Raymond then cracked some joke and we were laughing away. We continued playing cards while drinking but it’s good to know that none of us got drunk! When we were told that the shop’s gonnna close and we were told we couldn’t stay any longer, I was ready to embrace my beautiful bed. But alas, they still wanted to stay up and decided to go have dim sum. At 6 in the friggin morning!! I tagged along. Lol, we chatted more and I looked at them eat. All the time, I was just thinking bout shutting my eyes and go to sleep. But it was fun in a way! I’ve enjoyed myself and ushered in the new yr not with hundreds of people surrounding me but just with friends around me.

Happy friggin New Year all. It’s gonna be a Great & Dashing year for us all and let us no longer look at what was or what could’ve been. We now look forward and reach for the sky!! Cheers!!

Bak kut teh....at 0200!!

I had just finished another round of DOTA, i think it's my 4th or 5th of the night im not sure. The clock showed 0200 and i was ready to hit the covers and had already conquered the flight of stairs when i saw b4 me..... my dad who had woke up.

Just b4 that, my mom walked passed me and w/o shifting her glance said " want to go for supper ?" It was so soft that i barely caught it and was wondering why she was asking when she has just brought Chai Chai out to poo poo.

So when i saw my dad, he just asked if i would like to go for bak kut teh. I think he expected a yes. And i did, w/o hesistating altho i was friggin sleepy. Bro and sis tagged along altho bro said no at 1st. Why would he say no to bak kut teh?

I drove our fiat ulysse there, i think im becoming my family's driver. It's almost always me who drives. The shops on Jln raja laut and it serves fantastic bak kut teh. But u should only go there at about 1 or 2 coz that's when the soup's best!!

We ordered 6 tau fu poks, 1 'fa yuk' and 1 'pai kuat chi'. I consumed 2 bowls of rice albeit with objections from my mom. She's always like that. Hahaha. Go there if not for the bak kut teh, it's for the tau fu poks coz it's really uberly ultimately Deelicious!!! By the time we're thru it was already 0330. And i went to bed straight afters. DAMN, gonna get fat!

But it's worth it! If u hv the time and the urge! Go ahead and eat there. It's just along jln raja laut, directly infront of a bus stop. You cant miss it!!

Last nite in kaoshiong and they brought us to a bridge to watch ppl board boats. As if we hv nthg better to do. It was friggin cold!
This statue is s'pose to be a fish changing into a dragon. Dont see any transformation tho.

Big temple opposite the spring pavillion. Dont know the name, cant read chinese!

Enter through the dragon's mouth and exit thru the tigers!! We didnt climb up the pagoda andi blame the tour guide who was rushing us. It's also called the spring pavillion if im not misaken.

Flowers in Fu lung sha temple ( not sure) but it's huge.
That's me with the giant buddha statue. Around the garden there are hundreds of human-sized buddha made of pvc i think. It's hollow and there a Do Not Touch Sign.
Lunch in Tainan. The foods were Deeelicious!
Motorcycles everywhere! Statistics from tour guide there's 88 motorcycles for every 100 persons.

Tried solero shot? This is higher.
The diving machine! It stopped there for 2 secs to let u 'admire' the view b4 going off!
Strawberries in, well a strawberry farm! Sweet and a lil sour. Still tastes good!

Sui loong pau in taiwan. My 1st was in HK and it was delicious. This was almost as good. Almost.

Night market in taiwan!! Look at the people!!! ONLY 1 friggin hour. Bought NOTHING!!! @#%%

A doorknocker in the chiang kai shek memorial. We spent an hour here.
Group picture! All 44 of em.

Me, my parents with their friends and their son han. Asshole's only 16!

National museum. Apparently b4 Mao zhi dong died or smth he whisked alot of historical items here from China. I wonder why. We ONLY spent an hour here.

Chiang kai shek memorial. Yes we went there at nite. Another hour here.

My mom in the Martyr's museum.
Martyr's memorial. Entrance to all of the....plats?

2 guards guarding the entrace to smth. Are not allowed to even step on the stairs! WTH's inside!!

At the gates of the Martyr's museum. My parents and I! =)
Taipei 101. Named thus for it has 101 floors.

Parents in a shopping complex next to 101. Much like KlCC but they have better foods in their food courts!!

"Oh the fish ball soup here is very nice. You all need to try it" says the tour guide. Conclusion: Nthg special just that it's bigger than average. This is in Jiufen.

4 diff types of Fu Yi. We take this with our porridge! Very nice bought a afew home.

My parents... Look at my dad! Always eating no wonder his tummy is growing bigger & bigger!

Smth's not right in this picture.

Scenery in Jiufen. The story goes that last time there was 9 families here and 10 on the other side of the mountain. So the supply porters just called the places jiufen ( supply for 9) and shifen (for 10) and the name has stuck til now.
We reached Taipei on the 22nd at 2200 hrs and went to hv a heavy supper. Reached the Imperial hotel as 2330. Wake up call was designated at 0630. On the 1st nite i was bored and ventured out alone at 0130. It was crazy as the girls were still shopping at that time and activities ceased just a lil. Got my hands on fried chicken liver, Pig skin and a green seaweed thingy called hai smth.
On our 1st day we went to Jiufen then we went to 101. Nthg spectacular. Our KLCC is much grandier! (nationalism.. LOL) After that we went to the Marty's museum b4 having lunch. Then we went to the National Museum and in the evening to the chiang kai sek memorial and to the night markets. Se men ting and the other 1 shih-li. Arrived back at the hotel at 2300 smth.
The next day (24th!) we head to taichung. Highlight of the day was the Jian-hu shan theme park which have one of the biggest ferris wheel i've seen. It takes roughly 'bout 45 mins to complete one full circle. We had a one of a kind xmas eve dinner. Open aired and all the food served was a lil cold! Was acting macho at that time and refused to bring down my pullover and boy did i suffered. Had beer and played about. Xmas spirit was about and everyone started singing carols. I just sat there and listened!! XD At about 2130 we went to Fong Chia night market. Bought nthg except for a stick of chinese sausage, rice in sausage shape and yam bubble tea (communication error).
25th was spent mostly on the bus where we departed from taichung to tainan where we had a special lunch ( pic above). Then we head to kaoshiung city whr we visited the spring & autumn pavillions and the dragon tiger pagoda. Beautiful! B4 that, we visited fo kuan shan, a huge temple. The tour guide wanted some comission and brought us to a pearl shop afterwards. There was a class whr we all attended listening to stuffs about pearls i think. Couldnt understand!!! At night, he brought us over to the Love river. It was so cold yet i could still see taiwanese girls with short skirts or short pants.
Woke up at 0430 to get dressed b4 heading down to the lobby to get our packed lunch! Consist of a hard boiled big, ham sandwich with the ham the size of credit card and a banana! Of all things, a banana! Left for the airport at 0530 arriving at 0600-0630. Checked in and boarded the plane at 0800. Goodbye taiwan and home to malaysia!!
Oh, pics are from the last day to the 1st!!

BACK!!

Arrived at home at around 1600 after a flight from KAOSHIUNG to KLIA connecting to K.K.. Slept roughly thru the whole flights except for the 2 meals and shots of brandy cum talking cock with han who had vodka.

At the duty free shop we bought 2 bottles of DOM (for mom) a bottle of Absolut Mandarin (sis) and J.D. (me). Total cost = RM360.. DIRT CHEAP!!!!

I just read the news where an earthquake measuring 7.2 on the richter scale struck just off the south coast of taiwan with a 6.7 felt in taipei. It occured roughly at around 1300 where i think im like a few thousand feet in the air.

I wonder what it would be like to live thru an earthquake. I've seen what it could do on tv and out of curiosity, i would like to experience one myself....alone. Wouldnt want any1 close to me to get in harms way. I wonder how i would handle the situation where it's chaotic and dangerous. Would i scour away and hide myself in a sanctuary? Or would i brave it fearlessly handing a helping hand to those in need? I dont know. I cant say u would run away nor can am i 100% sure that i'll stay and help. I cant say i'll remain calm nor am i sure that i'll panic. Human behaviour is unpredictable in desperate times and heroes in peacetime might turn out to be cowards and those deemed useless to be heroes.

Alas, i guess we'll only know when it happens.

Hope there wasnt much dmg done to the citizens of taiwan and to our brothers in JOHOR, i hope the flood would cease and life for them would go on normally. GOD BLESS!!!

Chi Ge Zhi Dou??

I'll be leaving for taiwan now. I'll be spending my xmas there with a bunch of old ppl. It should be the same as last yr but i was in macau and had fancy and iris with their 2 cousin (cute) with me. I just hope they have smth special there. Wont be in Taipei for xmas eve tho like i wasnt in hong kong last yr. Bosch is cheap!!

The sole problem i'll be facing is.... communicating with the locals. I am a banana. No denying that. So i guess all i'll be asking for is the price and if the food is nice. Fantastic!!

Hmmm...hopefully the trip wont be too bad or boring but since im in a new place, there's so much to see and so much to learn. I'll take lots of pics and upload it provided i can find that friggin cable -_-... Anyways, Cheers!

Oh yea

MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL!!!

I'll be back for new yrs.... DONT WRY!!!

Imam club? Seriously?

It was in the papers a few days back I think. Where the local imam’s of the state of kelantan decided it was time for them to allow their 18 yr olds to embrace clubbing. So they created a club I think they called it ‘imam’ club or smth. I forgot.

It sounds normal, well except for the ‘imam’ part (actually the more I think of it, it sounds more wrong now). Anyway, so what’s truly special ‘bout this club and it seriously changed the whole meaning of clubbing is that it’ll be segregated…. According to gender!

Yeap! The boys will be dancing with the boys and the girls will be dancing with the imams!! Just kidding, they’ll be dancing with ppl of the same gender. So what bout the guys who wants to pick up chix? Or chix who wanan pick up guys? I think they have to do it at the back alley or smth. But they have to be careful tho, islamic police might just send em to prison for breach of some syariah law thingy.

Why cant those legislators think up smth useful instead of smth like ‘imam’ club. What the hell, ppl go to clubs to have some fun with their friends and mingle around. They want to mix with the opposite sex else why would they get all dressed up for it?

This is hilarious and a laughing stock. It’s both stupid and impractical. And I for one will nvr go into it. What ‘bout you?

Unfair. Downright Unfair!

Sunday mornings are…..dreamy. More often than not those dreams are brought well into the afternoon. On occasions where my stomach’s growling for food will I wake up a lil earlier for b’fast. Today was no diff, except that at 10 those bastards were at it again. This time the drilling was directly opposite of our wall and the noise from the drilling can be heard loudly. I grunted, tossed and turned and refused to even open my eyes! Close to me I can vaguely hear my bro doing the same stuff.
By the time I did open my eyes, it was already 1310. Parents were out having lunch with my aunts but there was b’fast on the table. Prawn mee..yum yum!
Threw myself at the com after bfast but no1 was online. Surfed bbc and smth about darfur or sudan. Cant rmbr much. Then came my bro, holding smth in his hands which a big grin on his face. He always has that grin when he has smth to brag about!
He opened the box and slowly and carefully brought the item out. An ipod video. A black ipod video which he said costs around 900 bucks. He then placed it on the table infront of me and plugged in a cable, to charge it. Blardy hell, cant he use the laptop for it?
I, who’s phone was just conked up yet couldn’t afford to buy myself a new phone nor persuade my parents to buy one for me there my bro was brandishing his new ipod. WTF is wrong with this world? It’s so unfair. I think my parents gives him too much money. I think they should divert some of it to ME!
As of right now, my wallets empty and I cant even afford to go to mamak! I need MONEY!!!

Leech.... XD

My parents have a policy of not giving allowance during holidays. They seem to think that I wouldn’t need any since im not going to sch. Am I expected to stay home everyday for the whole period of holidays? Apparently they think so.

So whenever I wanna hang out with my friends I have to ask cash from my parents. My mom’s cool and hands it to me easily while my dad makes me beg for it.

And I hate begging. But what am I to do? I need the cash! Maybe I should consider getting a part time job then I can both hv money from the job and leech from my parents which means twice the amount of money for me!!

But then again, I think I’ll just stick to leeching. It’s much more fun compared to actually earning it!!

Buffalo beaten by an insect!

Im typing this with my bowels screaming to be released from all the chilli I ate in the afternoon coupled with a heavy dinner and top it off with bee hon soaked in oil for supper. So I guess some shit ass chemical reaction is taking place as we speak. But I think I can hold it in a lil more, im a lil adapt at it already since, well, I had plenty of experience. =)
Dengue fever seems like an historic disease to me. I mean, it’s so harmless that it needn’t be taken note of. Alas, bro’s infected with it and was admitted to hosp. today. If he had only listened to mom or be like me and drink lots & lots of water, he’ll save a few thousand bucks… maybe for me to spend? Anyway, spent 4 hrs there watching tv and just being there. It doesn’t really matter if u don’t hv anything to say or and jokes to share, the presence counts most. Well, it would be at least for me.
So we left bro there to fend the monsters under his bed alone at about 1230 hrs. Sis just couldn’t shut up bout ghost and supernatural beings and bout her ‘encounters’ during her last hosp. stay. It would’ve been really entertaining if some1 was to fall for it but we all know it’s bullshit. He’s gonna be alrite, heck he’s 4 yrs my senior he should be able to handle these kind of things. Unless of coz, some ass wearing hosp. gowns walks into his room holding is head on his left hand and his eyeballs and his right hand then we hv a problem.
Come to think of it, I hv nvr been admitted to a hosp. at least not that I know of. I’ve always regarded myself as possessing wolverine healing powers where any injuries or sickness that has befallen me will be healed by itself and I’ll recover faster than the average Joe. I guess when u feel that u’re better, u are recovering faster than if u were to think that u’re sick.
I wonder how it is like spending a nite in a hosp. room alone and sick as a dog. It would be a new experience that I wouldn’t mind trying. Hmmm, guess im stupid for cursing me that I’ll be consign to a hosp. bed….someday. But, since I’ve nvr tried it b4, it would satisfy my curiosity.
Well bro, hahhaha serve u right u fat shit. Take the time to rest and slim down like everyone said u would. Hahaha.. like what dad said, “ A buffalo taken down by a small lil mosquito.” Speedy recovery bro!! Cheers!

A kid...nevertheless

I rose from my bed with a struggle. Awoken by the sound of drilling, my body refuses to admit that sleeping time has been cut w/o prior notice. I went downstairs expecting to see breakfast or at least some kind of food on the table but I was only too hopeful.
There stood in front of me a kid of barely 9 yrs old running around playing with chai chai. I couldn’t help but smile. My dad was on the comp thus I trodded to the couch. I see my sis on the phone whilst my bro was sleeping like a dog. He is sick as a dog anyway. I slouched on the couch and tried to regain my dream. Alas, blardy drilling! Can’t they start a lil later?
I witnessed an innocent child armed with nthg but his imagination holding what would be, pikachu and bamboo sticks. He is a soldier and chai chai’s the enemy he’s about to slay! Just as the final blow was to be made, chai chai scurried towards my dad. His own sanctuary while the kid, saddened to be unable to slay his enemy retreated towards the sanctum that was the sofa. I just smiled…reminiscing.
After both recuperated, the duel begin again. A tug-o-war soon ensued. The enemy was trying to devour his prey while the soldier is pulling it away from it’s teeth. He pulled and pulled but to no avail. But he would not give up, instead he tried even harder to save it. Alas, with a hard tug, chai chai won!
He returned to his place, defeated but not w/o spirit. After gaining strength, he dashed towards his enemy once again. This scenario continued for some time and all the while I was smiling. How childish can be be? Armed with nthg but his imagination he reminds me of……me.

In an island which we cant get out of.....yet!

Humans are one of the evolutionary success stories with the ability to think and speak. With these special attributes, we were assigned the duty of upholding and safekeeping the world and to care for the various species that inhibits the world. However, in our quest for technological advancements, we have neglected to consider the effects of our actions on Mother Nature.
We are suffocating ourselves with our daily carbon emission. If nthg is done now, we will be the cause of our own demise! World governments notably the EU have already done their part why administering carbon trading and are trying their best to meet to Kyoto protocol.
So what can normal citizens do? Since we burn efuel to get electricity and power our cars, it is only fit if we were to replace them with renewable and non-polluting energies. For homes, we can go solar which are getting cheaper and more efficiently yearly. Our cars (which are major carbon emitters) should be replaced with those of smart cars, hybrid cars and etc. Smart cars and hybrid cars run partially on electric power which could be recharged at new electrical point. There are also hydrogen powered engines of BMW which have 2 fuel tanks – one on normal fuel and one on hydrogen fuel-. They are only minor steps towards automobiles which are fully independent of hydrocarbon fuels. Yet, w/o these minor steps, we would we end up?
I’m half way thru convincing my dad to set up solar panels in our home (currently undergoing renovation). We Malaysians live in the tropics which are bountiful in sunlight and our rivers are designed for hydroelectric generation. We have monsoon seasons which make wind a feasible choice of energy. Yet, since we all seem to be apathetic bout nature and constantly deceiving ourselves that the world will last forever, I do not see much activity to promote renewable energy here.
We should bear in mind that we all live in an island and this is an island which we hv not yet found a way out of and may be out last stronghold. Go green people!

"HCL is an asid." "No! It's Happy cocking and laughing."

Institution of learning is a place where people learn smth on a certain subject from certain ppl. Lower six has official ended with the last extra class held today. It was held continuously for 2 weeks with physics taking the 1st and chem covering the 2nd. Classes start at 8 and last for a duration of 4 hours with a half an hour break. It would have been useful, really, if only attention was paid.
Physics was well….physics. Who would dare interrupt loo’s class? Well, we are talking bout looney so it’s normal that classes went normally. Chem however, is a totally diff story. Maybe it’s because the teacher’s not good enough. Maybe, it’s because I got lazy (Hmmm..wait. I got lazy from the start). It prolly was because my peers were of bad influence and that we all were just uninterested.
I’m always late for chem… 15 mins the least 45 mins the most. I wouldn’t hv missed anything, for I was expecting to gain anything. With the teacher forking out words of knowledge diligently in front to those students who were copying diligently in the front rows with theirs ears perked up to pick up any special words or special meaning words which might enable them to score in the exams. Perfect! Exactly how a classroom should be.
Look towards the back of the class however and the sight is hilariously identical. Books lay open on the table, pens/pencil lying around on top of full scrap paper – apparently to copy notes. Apparently! - But the books are turned to the wrong page or even better, closed. The papers are untouched and bursts of laughter are heard in intervals accompanied by sudden “What kinds”! And “Cockstories”. Push it a lil more and fuck, skank and whore seems to be a necessity in every sentence. Oh, if u still didn’t know, the word fuck can act as a noun, verb, adverb or an adjective. E.g “ Fuck u, u fucking fucker”. Caution is needed when choosing to use these words. Occasional glares and stares and disapproving looks might be tuned towards the speaker.
I have learned nthg from these extra classes (Chem) thus I don’t deem it as very useful. But this is all due to my willingness to forsake my studies for those minutes of joy and my eagerness to hv fun and im sure that this will all come back to bite me in the ass in the future. Change is needed. =)

Help Needed!!

Hmmm.... i need some help. When i look at my blog, i cant help but feel a lil disappointed. It looks so boring and ill-planned. It couldnt be helped tho. Maybe i should've chosen another blog provider where everything is pre-planned and set up is just a click away. But no! I wanted to be smart and create my own blog from scratch. It didnt work out as how i wanted it to be.
Thus now, im screaming for help to enchance my blog appearance. Since im a nuthead when it comes to programming and i can make no sense out of HTML codes and causes me to wtf everytime i tried to change. As u can see, my blog's plain..period. The colours not exciting and the ads are boring. There are no designs to date and my sidebar is at the bottom ( i dont know how to bring it up.. tried many times tho).
So if there's anyone that can help me and willing to spend numerous hours teaching me how to do it - prolly takes more like a few weeks to knock it in my head - Please tell me or send me an e-mail, comment or w/e. Thank you beforehand.

A football team!

Today was one of those days where waking up appears to be a struggle. It's hard enough that i went to bed at 0430 hrs, i was woken up at 8.30. That's 4 hours less than my normal sleeping time!! Apparently, my sis's bf neglected to answer his phone which kept on ringing. I had an urge to smack his phone right into his face but remembered last min that he is my sis's bf and there'll be serious repercussions. So i just set me face on my pillow and cover my ears. It woudl've been more effective if i just went to sleep on the couch in the hall, but i just refused to rise. Apparently i figured i would collapse and die if i rose from my bed. I just stayed on and rolled about trying to figure out the name of the ringtone.
And w/o me knowing, it was already 1130 and i need to shower. Dad was getting pissy as he thought we were late for our 1200 lunch for my cousin's baby full moon. And since i was still sleeping and the nearest target to him, i faced the brunt of his pissy-ness. The lunch was mundane......boring to say the least. However, the sight of babies just melts my heart. They're so small and fragile, needless to say so very the cute and adorable!! With their innocent eyes and hands so small, they look and touch at things which tickles their curiosity. A sudden chuckle follwed with a smile makes the crowd go awww. Babies.... im gonna hv a dozen of em in the future!
And the rest of my day was spent on a couch dreaming of scarlett johansson... XD

Need it to vacate!

I had planned to go over to the registry dept. to get my passport done today. Apparently im going to spend my xmas away from kl again. It's already been 2 yrs since i last celebrated xmas here with my friends but im not complaining much since im gonna get to pick up some taiwanese chix this yr ;). Anyway, things didnt go as planned. Heck, i'd been planning to make my passport since last friday yet im here blogging bout not getting it done.
Anyway, instead of going to the reg. dept., i went to choose tiles for my house with my family in cheras. Boy was it tiring! My dad was being cheap as he refused to use quality and overly expensive tiles going instead for mid-range and cheaper tiles. Of coz, my bro, sis & i were there to counter his rigor of cheapness. So most of our tiles will be from white horse and mml, brands that i've never heard nor seen before. Tiles are just, well....tiles rite? What's so hard about choosing the material that u're going to walk on until the next movers comes along?
We'll be using the same marble floor as b4 and the new tiles will just be for the kitchen, 2nd floor and toilets. For the kitchen, we kids wanted some design for the floor but dad said it wasnt IN. Wth..... he's being cheap but wants to be stylish too!! After arguing for some time, we gave up and went with some purplish and red, not-too-smooth surface tiles w/ no design. It cant be too smooth as it might be slippery and the colour was such coz that's the best looking colour for that range of tiles there is.
I had wanted black floor tiles for my room. It looked good and had a nice feel. My sis also felt the same thus she wanted the same floor tiles for her room. But i aint gonna let no1 take the same colour that i was, so another 'debate' of who saw what 1st and who chose what 1st ensued. Half way thru, dad potong-ed out stim by saying it's too dark and he will not allow it. So much for i chose the tiles 1st. The ever-emollient-grandmaster-guru was taking none of our persuading and cajoling and he stood firm w/ HIS choice. Which was both dull and boring =.= !!
Much fun was to come when choosing tiles for the toilets. Since im gonna sleep in the same room w/ my bro, i followed w/e he said. Yea rite. The original tiles was a 2-tiered-coloured tile of white and dary grey. I was gonna have none of that! Then my bro decided it was too dark. I agreed and he chose a lighter shade of grey where i went over to the woody look. I didnt feel much for dark colours in the bathroom. I just didnt seem to feel rite when u're on the bowl and releasing the 'heaviest thing in the world' ( according to ching ju =.=) in a dark coloured background. A lighter colour will generate the perfect atmosphere for bowel movement. Bro agreed with me altho i dont think he did w/ my reasoning and we went with the woody coloured tile.
After finishing choosing the tiles, we went to have lunch which was my initial motive when i went to my dad's office. Oh, need i state that my dad and sis went to the same shop to select tiles for the same purpose 2 days b4. And apparently my dad was contemplating if he wants to go back there to tmrw to choose tiles- maybe for the same rooms, maybe not-. There goes my plan to get my passport done again.

What Could've been...

It was announced that we’ll be having cooking comp today and preparations were made. However, half the no. of rovers had go for some jati diri shit and the other half started giving excuses to not come for it. Fine, we still had 2 hopefuls who we thought would come. However, ying ling text-ed nicks last min saying she couldn’t make it and we couldn’t even detect sharifah’s scent. So what can 4 scouters do?

We start off by starting a fire. See the 2 bricks?
Allows air flow and the pan to be placed on top!

A bigger fire! Well, the bigger the better aint it? Besides, it makes the cooking way much easier.

What u see is that u get. We didnt bring enough ingredients but we made do with what we have. Salt, cabbage and some beans. Added also.... EGGS!!

So how do cook the rice w/o a rice cooker? Simple. 1) build fire. 2) wash rice and pan. 3) Place rice into pan and pan over the fire. 4) Get a banana leaf to act as the lid!! Caution, banana leaf is flammable..

Our way of opening can foods w/o a can opener! ( It's MY idea) Get a hammer and a flat headed screwdriver and start hammering.

It's almost like the government. 1 person to do the job. 1 person to advise. Another to look and the last one to take pictures to be posted in the papers - in this case blogged- !

PRISTOOo!!! Our meal. Consists of Friend rice with veggie's, cabbage friend with carrot and green beans, red beans with egg, egg ( again =.=) and chopped chicken....with yes u guessed it, EGGS!

Nicks and danny. Ghey

Me and liks. Check out the look on liks's face. Ghey x10!
My ROVERS.... u gals see what u've missed out on? Not only was the food delicious, the process of cooking it was fun too!! So what can 4 scouters with few ingredients do? We cook up a wonder! =)
CHEERS!!!
P.s. to my rovers: Come for meetings!

Going Down Fighting!

When problems arise, it normally causes frustration. When that problem is hard or cannot be solved, the frustration boils up to anger. More often then not, this causes the person to quit trying solving the problem. But there are some who wouldn’t give up at all cost. The will continue to fight every battle until the war is won….or lost thoroughly. This inability to give up or let go could be both good & bad.
I am an asshole, for I belong to the group that just wouldn’t give up. No matter how bleak the situation looks, I somehow will find smth to push me to just fight that little bit longer. For I hold on to the belief that if I do not give up, I still have the chance to succeed and to achieve what I desire. With this belief, I harp on things that matters to me. Clinging on to them like a lost child who found his mom. Sometimes it produces beautiful results, other times I crash and burn.
It’s crappy to think of ppl that I’ve hurt or disappointed. It sucks when ppl place high hopes on me and I couldn’t live up to it. I needn’t go very far for an example. My parents have always aspired for me to get good results. They are not hoping for fabulous results like all A’s although it would be fantastic if I could. Nevertheless, when I presented to them my report card for my finals, they weren’t pleased. I could sniff a hint of disappointment in their voice but I could smell anger too. Altho they still managed to maintain their composure, it can’t be mistaken.
Anyhow, I know I’ve done badly and I too am angry with myself. The ultimate competition is with urself and it seems that I always seem to lose to my other half. Thru yrs of gaming, I’ve gained the ability of not being able to concentrate on my studies. Apparently when I open books, I get stunned, net or even lulled to sleep. It is a problem which is getting worse and is depressing. Even more so since my ultimate responsibility now, is to study.
But this doesn’t mean I should give up rite? After all, I’ve taken the 1st step of acknowledging that I have a problem. Now I just have to continue waging war for I might have lost the battle but the war is not over yet. But even if it is, I’ll continue fighting for after all, I am an asshole.

It's all for the future.....

When one is propelled into power, there is much that is needed to be done. Responsibilities to bear and decisions to made be it wise or unwise. There is often a hierarchy where the most powerful does not mingle or have contact with the superiorly inferior subjects. However, when those in btw does not or rather, could not do the jobs that were assigned to them, should those at the top not begin to have direct contact with those at the bottom and thus overriding the middle class? Or should they advice and maybe replace those middle classmen with more eligible ones?
Either approach causes much problems and matters worsen when a problem pops up b4 the previous problem is solved. As I’ve stated in my previous post(s), we had decided to directly oversee the moulding of the lower class overselves. The middle class has proven to be inept at controlling the lower class and in dire need of help.
We came up with a few guidelines and rules for the remaining weeks of sr. It was agreed upon by myself and liks w/o much contention from the rest. It would seem that they couldn’t care much. But if they could only see that if we, together with the form 4’s fail to mould the sr’s, we will be overloaded with responsibilities next year. We have STPM to study for, but we cannot afford to neglect next yr’s scouting term. And if the sr’s could not be transformed into proper seniors, who can we depend on to do the work? Are we, form 6’s t go around asking for sponsorship? Or do we want to stay back till late at nite to build gadgets. Hmmm, we wouldn’t really know unless we don’t hv any seniors to begin with next yr.
So we’ve decided that there will not be whacking on the 1st week of our takeover. Furthermore, daily reports will be toned down. That is, during tues, thurs and sats, there will not be any physical contact and push-ups will be to the minimum. Assignments will also be reduced to the extent of which cannot be known but reduced nonetheless. Seniors who order breakfast will have to pay for their meal and activities will be held daily. Also, on the 1st week, all activities will be unity based for that’s what I see that is lacking most.
I am actually reluctant to change much to sr month for I believe that it’s the most crucial period for a scout and they have to be best. If it is toned down too much to allow all these pu**ies to join, what will our troop become? Furthermore, will they be able to handle tough situations or will they opt to quit and just run like what they’re doing now? These are serious implications that need to be taken into consideration. Yet, any changes are that going to be made can only be made thus so when we’re already running the show not while we’re at the sidelines watching. GOD SPEED!!

Where art thou?

Saturday’s agenda can be a drag if you’ve had a wild nite. The feeling of laziness creeps in slowly and will scheme ways to ignore our zeal and make us just stay home and sleep. But no matter how hard I partied the nite b4, I will always be there for sat agendas albeit late sometimes. So I wake up early and drive to sch expecting to see at least 15 boy scouts, 8 rovers and 5 SR’s! Alas, it was not to be. Ytd, I saw bout 10 maybe 12 boy scouts, 3 miserably rovers out of 12 and 1 eff-ing SR!
We had Base Games and it was going to be fun. Provided we had enough scouts for it. We had 3 rovers (Barathi, Wen Yi & Ying Ling), and so we continued with Base Games. There are 6 bases namely Bottle, human pyramid, kim’s game, rope, ice and mines. Bottle is where scouts use ropes to get bottle(s) out from an area. Where the bottle might be placed on a chair, table or on the floor and they cant get within 5 feet of the bottle. Human pyramid requires them to uhh, well from human pyramid with the topmost person writing the patrol’s name on the wall with chalk. Higher u go, the better u are =). Kim’s game is just memorizing and in rope, they have to make a 5-pointed star with a long rope. Difficulty: All but one is blindfolded and the one w/o the blind out is the coordinator where he/she will give orders to the others to move. Scouts are required to dip their hands/arms into a bucket of water and collect 3 one cent coins. The bucket is half-filled with ice and water, and salt. And for mines, one member is blindfolded and the rest of the patrol is to guide him/her thru the maze. It is not easy!
Thru all these, the 3 of em showed tremendous team spirit and enthusiasm. Altho w/ only 3, they didn’t complain much. There was the occasionally rant bout getting darker. Don’t they know that morning sunlight is good for their health? Tsk tsk. Anyway, I truly appreciated for them coming for scouts even when all their friends jacked. My respect for them has been elevated! Keep up the good work girls; maybe we’ll promote you to acting patrol leaders? Well, just maybe!
Oh, my *insert maligning word* Sr’s. Where art thou` ytd? Knoweth not, thou` had agenda? Knoweth not, thou` presence was needed? But know this, you are not just embarrassing yourself, you are tarnishing the image of the troop. And there are many of us who will move mountains to preserve it.

Sr's...you're a disgrace!!

When I joined scouts in form 2, it was only because my friends lured me in. It was fun, no doubt. But I wasn’t as enthusiastic bout it during that time than I was now. I just didn’t feel that tingling feeling that just calls out to me to go for scouts. Form 3 was no different where I was present for meetings bout twice a month. It sure as hell was shitty to be my patrol leader.
Then there was SR. It was going to be held after PMR and we were all asking each other if we’re going for it. I remember that I was close to no1 during form 3. But what I do remember was Danny coming up to me asking if I will join SR. I do not know. So I asked in return if he was joining and who else will be. “He: Dunno” After pondering thru for about 2 mins…max, I said yeah, I will join.
There was no turning back. There wasn’t a reason to do so. I had the best 2 yrs of my life in sch after that which I shared with 10 other assholes. After SR, I went on to become SPL and the secretary. This achieved by me who wasn’t even active during my form 2 and form 3 yrs. Ironic!
Now that I’m in form 6, I’m currently overseeing the SR month with the only other 4 assholes that stayed back for form 6. We are facing problems, it wasn’t new. Just that it’s more severe this year. Attendance is a joke where they will come one day and be absent the next. There are even rumours of quitting.
It’s their fault for acting like girls or maybe it’s just they way they are. But I hold this more to the mistakes of the form 4. Maybe their sr month was screwed up and they weren’t brought up correctly. But their failure only reflects on our inability to pass down traditions and teach the batches after us.
After a meeting held recently, the form 4’s was given until Wednesday to prove that they can handle the sr’s accordingly. If however, they fail and the sr’s attendance and sorts do not improve, we, the form 6’s who was hirheto only arbiters will personally take over the sr. And if I ever were to take over, I’ll make sure the sr’s suffer till they can take no more. Hmmm, but isn’t that what they want?

Weee....fun!!!

Having 6 periods of physics is enough to kill. Actually it would if I paid full attention in class but when u’re in a closed room, with air-conditioning and a boleh-makan bench, it’s quite impossible to resist drooling over the table. But the second my head touches the table; looney will go “Wooi Hong, Don’t sleep!” And she will then go on for a minute with some nagging which will be followed up by some smart remarks which in turn will generate either another minute of nagging or the class to burst in laughter.
But that’s insignificant really. What is, is when we’re running (metaphorically) back to class to embrace the tenderness of our chicken rice which was calling out to us so badly since 1100. As we’re descending down the stairs, Chai had that sudden urge that often is the spark of a stupid action to slide down the railing. Hmmm, what’s so dangerous? He might just fall and break his neck or smth rite? Nthg serious, really. And I digress. So, while he was giving his butt a massage, Nicks apparently too had a sudden urge that often is the spark to do smth stupid to give him a lil boost. Maybe he thought that giving him a lil extra speed would generate extra excitement for him.
Sometimes, no harm is done when dumb actions are enacted. Sometimes, but not today! Chai fell, and he fell gracefully with his whole body spread over the staircase. I was laughing, and so was aaron. That came to an abrupt end when we saw his wrist. It wasn’t normal. The part of his radius bone near the carpal bone (wrist) was protruding slightly, no, a lot, no, slightly. Okay it was protruding out. It wasn’t pretty but we thought it to be just a dislocation. So we decided to get my car which was in the carpark behind the form 4 block but we couldn’t find the guard to get the gate open. Thankfully, Khai zen parked his car near the form 6 block and we took his car to send Chai to the hospital.
We wanted to send him to tung shin(nearest hosp) but apparently it is a private hosp. and we will hv to pay to admit him there. So we detoured to HUKM in BTR with aaron leading the way. I’ve nvr been to HUKM b4 less so about going there. So we got him registered and the 2 helpers was cracking jokes bout how it happened. Anyway, he got reeled into the emergency ward and nicks followed him in.
We waited for about 20 mins b4 heading to the cafeteria with athur’s sis who kzen contacted. Apparently chai was just beginning to get his X-ray when arthur’s sis went in to check on him on our behalf. He still had to have his ‘dislocation’ corrected and then plastered were he will then undergo another X-ray. After bout 15 mins in the café, we went back to the waiting area to await the arrival of Chai’s mom. She was very grateful that we sent him there and thanked us. We failed to mention that one of us was the culprit to her son’s misery and I wonder if well get the same treatment if we did? I think we would, for parents are such that they don’t care how it happened just so that it did and they will do everything in their power to relief as much as possible the pain of their child.
Apparently our assumptions were wrong. It wasn’t a dislocation. In fact, he broke 2 bones on his wrist and will have to undergo surgery. His mom moved him to tung shin hosp. which I don’t know why for HUKM looks way much better.
All I can say is that it was a freak accident. It looked like nthg to me but in fact was more serious than it looks. No1 is to be blamed but CHAI AND NICKS (Yes, nicks, feel bad!!) At least this will teach all of us a lesson to not push when some1’s sliding down the railing or maybe….to not slide down railings at all? Let’s all wish Chai a speedy recovery so that he can slide down railings soon!! Cheers!

Dilemma that is Iraq

Iraq is an example of a failed democracy state. No, it wasn’t even a democratic state to begin with. After the ‘liberation’ of Iraq from the iron clad fist of Saddam Hussein, there’s been nthg but bloodshed. The strife between the sunni insurgents and shia militias is aggravated by a weak and powerless government.
After 3 yrs with the situation deteriorating rather than improving, what options are left and which is the most feasible? Should the US cut and run? Or should they stay and try to win over the insurgents? The argument for the US to cut and run is that they will cut and run in a few yrs time so what wrong with doing early the inevitable? But then again, how will the world look at the US for doing so? On the other hand, the cost of staying the course will come at the price of men and million of dollars.
For all that, the US should stay in Iraq regardless of the results of the mid-term election. They owe it to themselves and the Iraqi ppl as much to make iraq at least liveable. It is wise to get the cooperation of both Syria and Iran who each supports singly Sunnis and Shias. Their influence is undeniably strong and their ‘advice’ might coerce the militants to give up their arms. Thus, the US should hold talks with iran and Syria even if the nuclea negotiations with iran falls apart. It is for the best.
Furthermore, the U.S. with their military might need to stop covering in their bunkers and counter the insurgencies. It will be dangerous and gruesome but there is no other way to flush out the terrorist. Like they use to say “The best defense is a good offense.”
Moreover, it is well-known that the Iraqi police, controlled by the Internal ministry is deeply infiltrated by the militants who sometimes assist or even perpetuate themselves in the tit-for-tat killings btw sunnis and shias. Yet, militants are still being integrated into the police force. Stricter screenings is needed for applicants and Al-maliki needs to have the willingness to persecute the guilty.
Persevere, persevere and persevere. I believe that the US cannot afford to cut and run. They are better off staying and iraq combating insurgents. It’s already been 3 yrs and who knows how long it might take to flush away the insurgents, 2, 3 maybe 5. But the US should stay for as long as it takes. We cannot afford insurgents taking over and turning iraq into a terrorist stronghold. Persevere!

Amex!!

After months of pestering and cajoling, my parents finally agreed to get me one. They wouldn’t at 1st for they’re afraid that I’ll lose it. I don’t blame them, im famous for losing things..but that’s in the past!
Actually I’ve already submitted the form 2 months ago but when I called them up 2 days ago, they said they did not receive it. So I requested for the form to be fax-ed over to me. Alas, Since being taken over by Maybank, I think it a necessity for their service to sux, hmm, all local banks service sux? Thus, I dialed them up ytd, and they – miraculously – fax-ed the form there and then. Hmmm, what happened to the required sucky service?
So I filled up the form perfectly and fax-ed it over with a photostated copy of my I.c. After bout 10 mins, a person from their office called saying that I hv to fax over my photostated I.c. again but in a lighter tone. I when back to the fax machine and tried to fiddle around finding for the tone settings but only found a bunch of other buttons which seems to be of no use.
My mom’s going to fax over my I.c. for me today and I hope she doesn’t forget. Guess I’ll just hv to call her in sch to remind her! =)
I just home that my Amex plat sup card will be here pronto! Cheers!!
( This should be what it looks like. Nice aint it?? ^^)
