It seems to me that i've been kinda lax with my updates. I've got no idea why but im getting lazier by the day becoz of that eventho i hv things to share, i dont.

Scout den just got burnt and it was more to human error than an accidentally turn of fate. The most probable cause would be a short-circuit of the wires which... well it's kinda self-explanatory rite?

We just left mv when chris called with the news and we vroom-ed there in aaron's kenari rightaway. Chris was s'pose to come but apparently danny's kelisa wouldnt start! Loser!

I found out recently while browsing through military history that Muhammad the prophet was a general. Anyway after reading it, i came to a conclusion that in modern times(e.g. now) we'll just call him a terrorist for the tactics they use. Read! All in all, he was a great general according to the article and that his 'insurgency' was the impetus that enable the arabian armies to conquer the byzantines and persia. The war waging to the north of our country is growing worse. I read bout it recently on the TIMES mag that these muslim militias are ruthlessly targeting teachers and school go-ers. Heck, they even resort to razing school buildings to spread their propaganda.

It seems that torching government schools – teaching malay curriculum- will force the muslims to transfer their children into private islamic schools. Needless to say this is just another form of ethnic cleansing as the teachers targeted are mainly Buddhist.

IT’s STUPID and dumb and their killing innocents lives! I hope these bastards would get some education and grow up? Maybe clear their head of misinformation fed to them for so many years. MUET results were out on monday but all the hype about receiving ur results via sms was circulating by saturday nite. At least, that was when i was told that we can actually do that, who knows when it all started.

According to stats, a mere 176 received band 6 while 2000 over students scored a band 5.

And what did i get?

A band 5!!!

4 pts shy but that's not as bad as chris or ying ling who both scored 258. Just 2 eff-ing pts away. We were all targeted band 6 ppl. No, im not being arrogant or w/e u're thinking, if u've spoken or seen our works u'll be as surprised as this baby that we received a band 5.

WTF?

And what's worse, some guy in BM class with a mouth as big as the monsoon drain and voice that is so 'cant-find-the-word' scored 257. That a$$ beat me by 1 pt and he dont even look like he can speak proper english. Hmmm, maybe he can but his voice is quite-the-sickening so i dont actually pay attention to what he says.

So ying ling flunked her comprehension - she's the best in our sch for listening n speaking and one of the best writers in the nation ( Plz notice my envy!) and it was just hoorrriggible that she did so badly for her comprehension. Chris' problem was his...... speaking i think =.=.

And for me, the thing i was best at screwed me up till i even forgot where's timbuktu. Altho i knew my essay was shit, after i wrote it i knew it was down the drain. But i didnt expect it go so badly. Furthermore, my speaking was...shit and i..... dont even know what's wrong with my speech!

Ying ling cried and im sure chris feels like shit coz i feel terrible. But we dont show it, we are good at not-showing-how-shitty-we-feel. Lol. I guess the only reason that it hurts so bad is becoz we know we deserved better. No, we dont deserve, we ARE band 6.

But then again, maybe we're not.. at least our result slip says we're not. And im definitely not band 6 when that big-mouthed guy can beat me by 1 eff-ing mark. PISS THE HELL OFF MAN!!!

Lifeline

I woke up today....-just- with a feeling of restlessness & a lil despair clouding over me. Th.ings seem to be rather gloomy and bleak. It also became mundane and boring as if a giant suction machine just inhaled all the excitement out of it.

I kicked myself into the shower. Maybe the hot, strong gush of water hitting my face will clear my mind of matters, parochial, perennial or whatever. It didnt! Thoughts were flying in from everywhere and every drop of water hitting me seems to carry with it some weird idea or thought.

It all came to naught. By the time i changed in tomy sch u, it all disappeared and i was only dreading sch.

Somehow or another, the urge to just blog in the morning seems paramount to anything else.

07-07-07, comes once in a lifetime. But so are many others things in life, they come only once and if u're lucky to chance upon it. However, most of it are oblivious to it and they just miss out.

Live earth 2007, a concert to promote awareness towards the environment. How much impact does it really hv on us? Are those present really affect and in tune with the message being sent? Or are they just present for the song n 'partying'??

Nevertheless, let's take it that most of us learnt much from it, will we ever do anything bout it? Do we not care more bout the comfort of our homes, fully equipped with swimming pools n air conditioning running 24 hrs a day? Or our cars, carelessly driven here, there and everywhere! Distances which could be conquered by foot or public transport is forsaken for our cars.

We always think that we are only 1 person of millions so what we as a singular unit does hv no effect on the larger population. So u might think that for e.g. 99 out of a 100 is throwing garbage about, so what impact might I, as ONE out a 100 ( 0.01%) hv if i recycle my garbage?

SO our living earth might not be living much longer if we continue with our current trend. I think we all need a hard slap on our faces to wake us up to the reality that mother nature is just like any other woman; she's unpredictable, wrathful n most of all revengeful! And we need to do our best to keep her temperate and preventing her from venting her anger on us

We all hv a part to play in this world and it's a role we must play. But im just gonna put it off a lil while longer since well, i have billions of other ppl doing the same. XD

Renovation has taken long enough to reach 90% status. We hv finally reached the milestone of polishing the marble floor. But b4 they could begin, we have to move everything in the hall to the kitchen or upstairs, which wasnt really easy seeing that we hv so much clutter lying about.

This is my comp table, but u dont see my com.... just lots documents and books.

Coz my com is here, just opposite my comp table covered with dust and dirt waiting to be transported upstairs.

The table next to it... just as eff-ing messy. Most of the books belongs to me and u can spot chai chai's snacks lying atop the meds. Filling up his tummy is way much more important than filling mine!

This is the After pic. Chucked the table outside and it broke into half mid-way thru. Guess i need a new table. =\

My fridge was situated beside the table that was next to my ex-com table. We had a minor argument of wether the fridge has wheels or not but no1 was willing enough to stoop down to check. So, we what-the-heck and dragged it into the kitchen not caring if indeed it had any rollers.

And this is where it's contents lie.

After : fridge miraculously turned into a donald duck knitting done by my auntie a few years back. No, many many years back.

This is my treadmill and behind it is the massage chair. Moved to the kitchen with help from the guy who's showing off his flabby stomach in boxers. Psst, fatty arms too!

See the chair? We had a dining table there acting like a table-for-the-living-room. It's gone now the 1st thing we chucked into the kitchen!!

This is the aftermath. Treadmill next to 2nd fridge, my maggi cupboard is hidden behind the massage chair which is hidden underneath some white cloth and i seem to hv lost my grandma. Bummer.

So they polished the floor today (03/07) and it's so shiny and smooth. So smooth that chai chai's had trouble running about, seemingly to slip n almost fall if he runs too fast. He's fat!! like his dad! No wait, like my dad! =S w/e... the lines of his dad/ my dad are blurred anyway.

Cause = ego

Whoosh, our campfire’s kindled, our ten laws growing brightly…… u can only hear the emcee singing. The crowd was as dead as roadkill and I guess it was expected. The audience we all know came only for one thing, Rescue Act and nthg more. Not the sketch, not the dance, not the gadget and definitely not for the refreshments.

Prep began the week after carnival…. Which aint much actually, only 2 weeks to get everything done that usually needed a month. Sketch was alrite except for the crappy sound system which we paid 1800 for. Dance was okay, last minute grilling by danny worked a lil. RA was….disappointing to say the least. Stunts went badly and….. it sucked, need not say more.

This yrs failure is due to the ego and arrogance of both the form 5’s and the form 6’s. The form 5 for not asking for help and we form 6’s refusing to help w/o them asking for it. It’s actually fine if things were settled when we ask bout the progress. But it’s not when they say sketch is complete while we very well know they hv only completed 4 outta 7 scenes. Come on, the PL in charge of sketch is our bro’s younger bro. How the eff u dare lie to us infront of our faces.

Alas, there’s nthg we can do bout it. Campfire sucked and it sucked big time. Imagine being served ONE nugger, ONE fish ball and ONE curry puff for ur meal. Pwetty good eh?

Thank goodness it’s over now and I know there’s no point for me to bitch bout it now but I hv to rant out my disappointment somewhere. If only we did more eh? How much difference will we make? Batch of ’05 with the Best Campfire organized ever! If only……
